are aradia rpers looked down or what? i got an eridan that told me im boring without even letting me talk(i try not to be), and anytime i say "hell0" everyone disconnects.. i feel my character isn't improving because of this.

I personally love Aradia.
However, I rarely get the chance to stumble upon them.
Seeing an annoyingly heavy onslaught of comments such as “she serves no purpose to the plot” and “has zero personality” on a video of mine would lead me to believe she is not the most popular character.
Which is incredibly sad seeing that neither of those claims are true.-Mindfang

I used to RP on Trollplay a lot. But I got tired of it because only fluffy Sollux and desesperate Eridans answer to my Feferi. It wasnt so bad with Terezi, i got some good Karkats and Vriskas (the ones who did usually answer to me) but with Fef was terrible.

Because that’s the vibe I’m picking up on.
Most Sollux roleplayers I run into, are quite one-sided. Which pretty much jumps straight over the point of his character.
I’m not a romance roleplayer usually, but one thing that’s never good is countless players with the same approach.
If you aren’t actually talking about quadrants though…

Man, if you could see the dirkjake shippers I ran into, you would flip. They were so out of character it was unreal. Dirk was all snuggles and adorbs on jake acting kawaii ugu and shit. It was really annoying to watch, because I roleplay Dirk a lot and I'm pretty damn sure that's not how he acts.

Sadly a common occurrence with certain ships. I can’t say Dirk Jake is something I usually keep tabs on, but I can only imagine how terrible they are when it comes to staying true to the character. Not that most Jakes I stumble upon in the vast and prosperous roleplaying plain of Facebook have the slightest grasp of his character. (Yes I did go there) We just all have to accept that this is going to be a regular occurrence in the field of terrible roleplaying and document it here among the great file cabinet of disdain.
I cannot even fathom the number of ooc Caliborn roleplayers waiting to get Dirk’s kawaii man hands all over their flushed skeletal noggins.
That, however, is a matter I will not jump into seeing that I could write a flaming novella about it.
Long story short:
Don’t manipulate characters for the sake of your ship. We don’t need blatant stock romance with homestuck heads slapped on. -
